Message	10 minutes to contort yourself under the dash and an extra 2 minutes to replace them all. Cliffnotes (assuming the bumper broke) - the brake pedal switch is not depressed because the bumper is missing, making the electrical system think you're pushing the brake pedal in. I ended up with a dead battery after my bumper broke on the way to work :(
